The GOAL Scholarship Program offers a streamlined method for contributing for a tax credit. If you wish to designate a particular school, please consult the website of that GOAL Participating School to learn how they can assist you in making your contribution to GOAL.
If you are not designating a particular school, you may follow the simple two-step process below to contribute to GOAL:
1. Contribute to GOAL
Send the following items directly to Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program at Five Concourse Parkway, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30328.
- A completed GOAL Scholarship Contribution Form
- A blank copy of page 2 of the Form IT-QEE-TP1 pre-approval form, signed by you at Part C (we will complete the form for you and submit it to the Georgia Department of Revenue)
- A check made payable to “Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program” in the amount of your contribution (this check will be deposited only when GOAL receives your Form IT-QEE-TP1 as approved by the DOR)
2. Claim the Credit
File your Georgia income tax return and take the credit.
- GOAL will send you a Form IT-QEE-SSO1 contribution acknowledgment form
- A copy of the Form IT-QEE-SSO1 will need to be filed with your tax return along with a short Form IT-QEE-TP2 , which will be available at tax time
- GOAL will send taxpayer filing guidance early next year and/or will post taxpayer filing guidance on its website
