The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program is a powerful way for individuals and businesses to positively impact lives by making K-12 education accessible to deserving students who otherwise could not afford it.
By contributing to GOAL, Georgia taxpayers receive a 100% state income tax credit, while directly supporting tuition assistance for exceptional students desiring to attend eligible private schools.
The GOAL program’s popularity speaks volumes about its impact: the $120 million statewide cap is reached on the very first business day each year, resulting in proration. In 2025, for instance, applicants were approved for just 53% of their requested credit amount due to overwhelming demand.
Even with proration, taxpayers still receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for the full amount they contribute to GOAL—making this a cost-free way to support their school community and provide life-changing opportunities for students.
