The editorial page of the Washington Post supports the recent deal between President Obama, Speaker Boehner, and Senator Lieberman to continue and modestly expand the Opportunity Scholarship Program for low income Washington, D.C. schoolchildren.
The unsigned piece, reflecting the opinion of the newspaper's editorial board concludes, "What shouldn’t get forgotten in this seemingly endless fight (over school choice) are the people with the most at stake: parents who simply want what’s best for their children."
