Nevada Adopts Landmark Education Savings Account Program

Earlier this week, Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval signed into law an Education Savings Account (ESA) program that has been described as a "far-reaching" and "broad" school choice law, in that it allows parents of children who have been enrolled for at least 100 days in a public school to decide how the state's portion of their child's public school funding is to be spent – whether that is on tutoring, transportation fees, an online program, or tuition at a private school.
